On February 1, 2024, the teachers and students of the Faculty of Design took part in the online seminar "Circular Fashion Design Strategies".

The participants of the online seminar from Ukraine and other countries of Europe and the world deepened their knowledge about the creation of circular fashion. Lecturer Marianne Mclean-Atkins, head of sustainable fashion education (Redress, Hong Kong) talked about cyclic design strategies and why they are important for designers. 

The speaker was joined by the winners of Redress Design Award 2023 Nils Hauser, Mandy Fong, Ruwanthi Gajadeera, who shared their experience of the competition and knowledge in designing clothes based on the principles of sustainable fashion.

The online seminar was attended by teachers of the Department of Art and Fashion Design of KNUTD, as well as bachelor and master students of the "Apparel Design" educational program, postgraduate students of the Faculty of Design, the "Design" educational and scientific program, etc. At the seminar, the participants heard both the personal opinion of the winners of the Redress Design Award 2023 Competition, as well as the expert opinion of the speakers about the problems and opportunities of cyclic fashion design. The attendees also asked their own questions.
