On February 27-28, 2024, an interesting event took place – the XIV All-Ukrainian Coating Conference "Coatings-UA". Undergraduate and post-graduate students of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies Dmytro DAVIDIUK, Demyan BOICHUK, Anna YASHCHENKO, Artem KOLODIY together with the head of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving Viktoriia PLAVAN were among the participants of the Conference.

In her report "The current state of personnel training on the basis of public-private partnership", Viktoriia PLAVAN presented Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design as one of the successful higher education institutions that has been training personnel for the chemical and light industry of Ukraine for over 90 years; she introduced the educational programmes of training specialists; shared her experience of cooperation with enterprises operating in the field of polymer processing.

It was a good opportunity for us to meet with the stakeholders of educational programs, discuss the problems of personnel training, the quality of training of young specialists, and be acquainted with the modern directions of development of the field of polymer coatings. For students, this is an additional opportunity to decide on the field of their future activities and meet future employers.
