1ST-YEAR STUDENTS OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM “ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN” VISITED THE KLOV PALACE

As part of their practical training on March 5, 2024, the 1st-year students of the educational program “Environmental Design”, accompanied by their curator Natalia Ryshkevych, a senior lecturer of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, had a unique opportunity to explore one of the capital’s prominent architectural landmarks – the Klov Palace, an example of the Baroque style.

During their visit to the Klov Palace, now functioning as the representative building of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, the students had а chance to see the restored interiors of the historic building. The tour guide, Halyna Borysivna, led the students through the magnificent Plenum Halls and the Museum of the Supreme Court, where they learned about the history of the building and the development of judiciary in Ukraine.

The museum’s exposition included familiarization with historical documents and materials that serve as factual evidence of the judiciary system development in the country, as well as commemorative gifts representing the Supreme Court’s international relations with other states. This experience expanded the students’ knowledge in history and architecture, enriching their understanding of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

The visit to the Klov Palace was an unforgettable experience for the students, who expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to see and feel the unique atmosphere of this historical site.
