Authorized on behalf of the rector of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design Ivan Grishchenko, head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business Olena Stepanova signed a cooperation agreement with the chairman of the board of LLC "Agrofirma Kozatska" with Viktor Gala.

The signing of the agreement was very symbolic, against the background of Ivan Samoilovich, who was elected to the hetman in the village of Kozatske, Konotop district, in the Sumy region. Having received state power during the complete destruction of the country, left her calm and economically stable on the eve of the economic and cultural take-off that took place under his successor Ivan Mazepa.

It is these qualities and priorities that Viktor Grigorovich personified as the owner, businessman, philanthropist and chairman of the association of private agricultural enterprises "Kozatska". He is an example of invincibility and hope, because one of his recent initiatives, the creation and popularization of rural tourism and the cultural heritage of the region, which gives an economic and promising potential for the development of tourism and the hospitality industry at the state level.

Applicants for education of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business KNUTD are offered unique conditions in acquiring the practical component of disciplines, to get acquainted in practice with the hospitality industry and such types of specialized tourism as: ecotourism, agritourism, ethno-tourism, rural tourism, green tourism.
