In 2024, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, according to the results of the international scientific and metric ranking SCImago Institutions Rankings 2024, ranks 17th among higher education institutions of Ukraine.

SCImago Institutions Rankings takes into account 17 key indicators that combine three different sets of indicators based on research performance, innovation outputs and societal impact measured by their web visibility.

In 2024, the University significantly improved its position in the field of innovation (Innovation Factor) and according to the indicator of social impact on the public through visibility in the web environment (Societal Factor).

The assessment of the scientific achievements of our researchers in the Environmental Science by SCImago Institutions Rankings was impressive, and our University was among the top five leaders in this field in Ukraine.

According to the results of the assessment of scientific achievements in the field of Energy, the University occupies a strong and convincing position, the 13th position among higher education institutions in Ukraine.
