IMPLEMENTATION OF HUMANE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH METHODS

For the second year in a row, KNUTD has been successfully cooperating with the international public organizations Doctors Against Animal Experiments (DAAE) (Germany) and InterNICHE (UK), coordinated by a biologist Dmytro Leporsky.

The main area of cooperation is aimed at introducing humane research methods into the educational process as part of biological, pharmaceutical and medical education and research.

A wide range of modern methods, namely: in silico, in vitro, multi-organ chips, computer simulations, virtual reality, computer models, are already implemented and actively used in the world practice of educational and scientific institutions.

Taking into account the world-recognized trends, with the support of Tetiana Derkach, Dean of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur at the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies, took a step towards the introduction of humane research methods in the educational process. With the support of Dmytro Leporsky, some technical equipment, including a laptop and a multimedia projector, was donated, and it will allow the use of modern multimedia programs and videos to study the specialized courses of biotechnology and bioengineering educational programs.

The personnel of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur of KNUTD sincerely thank the international partners for their support and development of cooperation.
