On March 20, 2024, an agreement on cooperation with the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was signed at a meeting of the Academic Council of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere. The session was opened by Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of KNUTD, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.

Therefore, Stanislav Dovhyi, President of the Junior Academy of Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics, Professor, addressed the participants. Stanislav Oleksiyovych spoke on “Military aggression of Russia against Ukraine. Analysis of the scientific sector state”. This study was prepared by the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and presented on March 11, 2024 at the UNESCO symposium. Stanislav Dovhiy also spoke about the work of the Academy and its contribution to the preservation of Ukrainian cultural heritage.

The agreement on cooperation between KNUTD and the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine includes the creation of a joint project that will make it possible to significantly simplify the use of Ukrainian folk ornaments in the educational process and the work of designers. The experts of the University and the Academy carry out digitization and vectorization of elements of Hutsul ornaments, ensuring their distribution and the possibility of use with modern software products. The signed agreement also provides for the expansion of educational, research, innovative, international activities, and educational work.

After the signing ceremony, Rector Ivan Gryshchenko presented Stanislav Oleksiyovych with the KNUTD honorary award to the applause of the audience.

We believe that the joint work of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine will strengthen their scientific potential, significantly expand the possibilities of educational and outreach activities, and contribute to the implementation of the most ambitious projects in the post-war development of our country.
