From February 12 to March 9, 2024, students of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies completed their practice, as a mandatory educational component of the educational-professional programs: "Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies", "Computer-Integrated Technological Processes and Productions", "Software Engineering", and "IT Project Management".
Educational practice for students of specialties 121 Software Engineering and 126 Information Systems and Technologies took place in multimedia auditorium 4-102 and at the Department of Information and Computer Technologies in the educational laboratory "Software Engineering and Information Systems" on the simulator platform from Genesis company. For students of specialty 174 Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics, the educational practice took place in the educational laboratories of the ICT Department "Design and Modeling of Automated Systems" and "Automated Control Systems and Microprocessor Technology". Industrial, pre-diploma, and research practice took place at domestic enterprises.
The main bases for industrial practice this year were Kyiv Electromechanical College (Kyiv), as well as modern Ukrainian enterprises such as PJSC "CARLSBERG Ukraine" (Kyiv), LLC "SURIKAT YUEY" (Kyiv), LLC "Design and Production Enterprise "AREY" (Kyiv), JSC "UKRTELECOM", LLC "FORA", LLC "EPOS" (Kyiv), State Enterprise "Starokostiantynivskyi Dairy Plant" and others, with which cooperation agreements were concluded.
During the industrial practice, students of the specialties 121 Software Engineering and 126 Information Systems and Technologies acquired practical knowledge and skills in programming, IT project management, and the use of modern computer technologies to solve practical, real-life tasks. Students of the first (bachelor's) and second (master’s) levels of the specialty 174 Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies consolidated their knowledge in automation and instrument-making in the context of real production conditions, improved their skills in servicing specialized equipment, and gained experience in the technological peculiarities of various production sectors.
We sincerely thank our esteemed stakeholders for providing the opportunity for the students of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design to undergo practical training in real production conditions and employment in the field.
