On March 22, 2024, the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur welcomed 10th and 11th-graders of the specialized school “Perspective” with in-depth study of natural sciences.
Olena MOKROUSOVA, the Head of the Department, introduced the guests to the University, presented the educational program of the specialty 162 “Biotechnology and Bioengineering”, and conducted a meaningful and interesting tour of the specialized laboratories of the Department.
It has become a tradition at the Department to hold master classes in Biology and Chemistry for students of general secondary education institutions of the capital. In the specialized laboratories of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur, the schoolchildren acquired skills in conducting qualitative reactions of various groups of cations and anions and using light microscopy to detect live cultures of lactic acid bacteria in foodstuff.
The day was full of impressions and emotions. We are waiting for future applicants!
