On April 4, 2024, Dmytro Leporskyi, biologist, entrepreneur, coordinator of the introduction of humane research methods in education from the international NGOs Doctors Against Animal Experiments (DAAE) (Germany) and InterNICHE (UK), gave an informative lecture “Organic farming and horticulture: from organic cultivation to safe products” for students majoring in 162 “Biotechnology and Bioengineering”.

The lecturer covered the peculiarities of growing organic products, the mechanism of action of biological products and substantiated the level of their safety for humans, made a comparative analysis of traditional chemical farming methods with modern biotechnology, and popularized eco-lifestyle.

The students were interested in Dmytro Leporskyi’s personal journey from a biology student to an entrepreneur who now successfully combines the biological knowledge, hobbies, experience of foreign mentors and partners, and entrepreneurial activity gained during his student years. Dmytro Leporskyi’s commitment to promoting organic gardening and farming methods and introducing safe organic farming into people’s lives inspired the students to recognize the importance of intensifying scientific biotechnology developments to create modern biological products.
