On April 8, 2024, the students of Pechersk Gymnasium No. 75 visited Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.

Together with their class teacher, Liubov Choliy, the students visited the Center for Energy Efficiency, where the director of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies, Igor Panasіuk, introduced them to modern methods of using renewable energy sources.

The Gymnasium students also met with the head of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics, Dmytro Statsenko, and Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Physics and Higher Mathematics, Iryna Oleynikova.

The lecturers of the departments told the students about the specialties studied at the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies: 105 – Applied Physics and Nanomaterials, 123 – Computer Engineering and 141 – Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics, which reflect modern trends and demands of society.

The Gymnasium students visited the museum of embroidery and the museum of sewing machines, where they learned a lot of interesting things.

At the end of the meeting, the students asked many questions about the educational programs and features of studying at the University.
