On April 12, 2024, another meeting was held within the framework of the UKRAINE TWINNING INITIATIVE project with partners of the Faculty of Arts and Design of Sheffield Hallam University (Great Britain) with the assistance of Cormack Consultancy Group.

The participants of the meeting were James Richardson – Director of Global Development and Partnerships of Sheffield Hallam University; Gill Baverstock – Global Development and Partnerships Coordinator, PA to James Richardson; Oleksandr Smirnov – Director of the Twinning project / Cormack Consultancy Group; Roger Bateman – Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design of SHU; Pam Bowman – Lecturer in the Visual Communications Program at SHU; Kalyna Pashkevych – Dean of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD; Olena Herasimenko – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Design; Heads of Departments of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD: Nataliia Chuprina, Olena Vasylieva, Danylo Kosenko, Yevhen Gula; Anna Sinilkina – Employee of the International Educational Programs Sector of KNUTD, Oleksandra Kolisnyk – Professor of the Department of Graphic Design; Inna Borolis – Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philology and Translation of KNUTD.

Roger Bateman, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design at Sheffield Hallam University, spoke about the main directions of student training at the Faculty, educational levels and terms of organizing the educational process.

During the meeting, Pam Bowman and Anna Di Betta, Head of the Distance Education Center of SHU, spoke about the technical conditions for the implementation of projects with the involvement of students.

The heads of the departments of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD presented the areas of activity of the departments and talked about educational programs for training students of various levels.

The participants of the meeting identified promising directions for expanding the partnership between the Faculty of Design of KNUTD and the Faculty of Arts and Design of Sheffield Hallam University, discussed topics from various areas of design for planning joint projects; an area of mutual academic interest in the field of art and design was explored between the two universities; scheduling guest lectures on fashion design, interior design, multimedia and graphic design, etc.
