The student research paper by Dmytro Reznik, a 4th-year student of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur, was presented this year by Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design in the second round of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Paper Competition in Biotechnology, held at the National University of Food Technologies (Kyiv).
Forty student research papers from 16 higher education institutions were admitted to participate in the second round, in particular, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv S. Grzycki National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, National University of Pharmacy, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, National Aviation University, O. Honchar Dnipro National University, I. Mechnikov Odesa National University, Mykolaiv National Agrarian University, State Biotechnology University, and others.
Based on the results of the analysis of competitive research papers, peer review, student presentations, and question and answer sessions, the competition committee highly appreciated Dmytro Reznik’s research paper on “’Stimulation of nodule bacteria growth by cerium dioxide nanoparticles”. Dmytro was awarded the status of Winner of the Competition in the section “Food and Agricultural Biotechnology” and received a winner’s certificate.
