Within the framework of the round table, a meeting was held between the teaching staff and applicants for education of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business with stakeholders Julia Tolkodubova, director of the Wellness Travel Club travel company, and Olga Laktionova, director of Avia UA. TG.

Tourism today is not just a profession, it is a conscious, human-oriented and creative industry that unites people and contributes to their happy, holistic growth. It was these issues that the meeting was devoted to - "Happy specialist in tourism," during which the main emphasis was placed on the leadership qualities of future specialists, interpersonal relationships, a sense of love for the profession, clients, as the most important component of the search and the choice of their own niche.

The practical component in the educational programs of the department was discussed, which contributes to the professional formation of specialists in the tourism industry, namely: the ability to apply modern methods to analyze trends and prospects for the development of tourism and the hospitality industry; knowledge of the peculiarities of the functioning of hotel and restaurant facilities, forms of management of tourist enterprises in Ukraine.

Interesting were the answers of students to the questions of industry experts: happy specialist in tourism, what is he? Ms. Yulia and Olga shared many years of experience in tourism companies, talked about the components of success, their own career growth, demonstrated on concrete examples the close and multifaceted ties of the tourism industry with related fields, the possibility of realization in the future profession.

The possibility of developing joint scientific and practical events, inviting practitioners to hold guest lectures, master classes for future specialists in the hospitality industry was also discussed.
