In order to popularize the achievements of world education and science among students and teachers, KNUTD introduced a series of guest lectures by representatives of business, scientific institutions and teachers of leading institutions of higher education in the European Union.

On April 16-17, 2024, at the invitation of the Department of Professional Education in Technologies and Design, the instructor in the dual system of professional education in Germany, Sofia Petrova, delivered two lectures on the topic “Dual system of higher education in Germany” in online format on the Zoom platform for students of the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s), third (educational and scientific) levels of higher education in the specialties 015 Professional Education (by subject specialization), 182 Light Industry Technologies; students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in the specialty 053 Psychology.

The lecturer spoke about the advantages of dual education for all participants in the educational process: students, business and institutions of higher education; characterized the models of dual educational programs that train future specialists in Germany, as well as educational institutions that offer dual education; outlined the conditions on which cooperation between business and institutions of higher education, etc., is based.

The result of each lecture was a lively and debatable discussion about the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process according to the dual form of education and the employment prospects of graduates of higher education institutions.
