In order to foster love and respect for nature, as well as to raise awareness among young people about environmental issues for future generations, the curators of the Department of Fashion Technology Antonina Babych and Victoria Kernesh, headed by the Head of the Department Olha Haranina, held an environmental campaign in Dormitory No. 2 together with the students of the EPs “Fashion Industry” and “Computer Design of Fashion Industry Products”. A variety of perennial flowers were planted in the flower beds, which will decorate the dormitory courtyard from early spring to late autumn, saturating the air with unique flower aromas and attracting the eyes of dormitory residents with their colourful colours.

Taking care of the planet and preserving the environment starts with everyone, namely with cleanliness and comfort in the room, in our own home, in the adjacent territory, on the street, in the forest, etc. Therefore, such events are an element of environmental education for young people, the transmission and inheritance of traditions, knowledge and skills, love and respect for Mother Nature and the Ukrainian homeland.

The Environment Day is a great opportunity to study, explore and enhance the beauty of our native land, do something useful for the planet and people, and show our best qualities in teamwork.
