Students, lecturers and employees of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design are working hard to bring victory closer, constantly participating in volunteer activities. One of these actions was participation in the social charity project "HUG A CHILD FOR PEACE". During April 2024, in all the dean’s offices and the institute, the student trade union committee and the student self-government of KNUTD, collection points for children who lost their parents in the war, children from the occupied territories, orphans and children with special needs were organized: personal hygiene products, food products, sweets, toys, stationery, etc.

On April 22, 2024, a meeting was held with representatives of the NGO "Happy Child Volunteer Movement" and its founder, Stanislav Pfeifer, and all the collected aid was handed over to the volunteers.

During the meeting, Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of NAPNU, emphasized the importance of such charitable actions and the readiness of all participants in the educational process to continue to provide support to children, military personnel and everyone who needs help.

Stanislav Pfeifer thanked all the participants in the action, gave thanks to the employees of KNUTD, personally to the Rector Ivan Gryshchenko, representatives of the student trade union and student self-government.

All the collected aid will be given to children, and the University will continue to work in support of our country! We believe in victory!
