On April 6, 2024, students and academic staff of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics (CIEM) visited the office of EPAM Systems Limited Liability Company. The delegation was headed by Ihor Panasiuk, director of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies of KNUTD and Dmytro Statsenko, head of the Department of CIEM.
The visit was organized by Natalia Polishchuk, manager of EPAM Campus educational programs in the Central region, with the support of Denys Hryniov, head of EPAM Campus UA.
EPAM Systems is an American IT company, a custom software manufacturer and a consulting expert. The headquarters of the company are located in Newtown, and its branches are represented in 55 countries of the world. More than 50,000 employees work in European, Asian and American offices of the company.
For many years, EPAM Systems LLC cooperates with KNUTD in the field of modern information technologies, aimed at improving the level of training of students, improving the qualifications of University specialists and is an active stakeholder of educational programs in the specialties 123 - "Computer Engineering", 124 - "System Analysis", 141 - "Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics".
During the meeting, the students were shown the modern premises in which employees of EPAM Systems LLC work, technical means and software, opportunities for both vertical and horizontal development while working in the company. The students visited the museum of aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by EPAM Systems LLC.
As part of the visit, there was a discussion of the ways to improve educational and professional programs in the specialties 123 - "Computer Engineering", 124 - "System Analysis", 141 - "Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics". The company representatives provided useful suggestions that will be taken into account in the educational process
