During the academic year, as part of the work of the scientific club of the Department of Smart Economics “Smart Ideas in the Field of International Corporate Business”, higher education students published more than 20 articles and 50 abstracts of reports of all-Ukrainian and international scientific and practical conferences.
On March 29, 2024, students of the Department of Smart Economics took part in the II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Dominants of Socio-Economic Development of Ukraine in New Realities” and on April 23, 2024 in the V International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Imperatives of Economic Growth in the Context of Implementation of the Global Sustainable Development Goals” of Kyiv National University of Technologіes and Design.
On February 27, 2024, students of the Department of Smart Economics took an active part in the scientific seminar “Development of Bioeconomy and Smart Specialisation of Ukrainian Regions” as part of the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ module “Promoting of European skills and approaches for sustainable bioeconomy in the conditions of Ukrainian acute challenges” (PESAB) at Kyiv National University of Technologіes and Design.
In 2024, students of the Department of Smart Economics together with their supervisors submitted 4 research papers to competitions: the following students submitted their research papers to the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in the specialty “Economics of AIC and Agriculture” at Sumy National Agrarian University: А. Klimenko, P. Puzyriova; M. Ryaska, Z. Shatska; M. Zakarliuka, Y. Haustova; to the Black Sea Science 2024 competition on the base of Odesa National University of Technology by D. Pryharska, O. Budiakova.
On May 1, 2024, in order to attract higher education students to scientific and creative activities in international economic globalisation processes, a presentation of the results of the scientific activity of Diana Pryharska, a 3rd-year student of BMEK-21 Group at the Department of Smart Economics.
From February 1, 2024, the International Student Research Competition “Black Sea Science 2024” was held at Odesa National University of Technology.
According to the results of 2 rounds of competitive selection, the research work performed within the framework of the work of the scientific club of the Department of Smart Economics “Smart Ideas in the Field of International Corporate Business” received the 3rd place in “Economics and Administration”, to which more than 70 research papers were submitted.
The student research work was devoted to the prospects of introducing bioeconomy at a pharmaceutical company.
