On April 23, 2024, at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, at the initiative of Andriі PORTNIAZHYN, Director of Vicelli Shoe Production Company, a competition for the best logo was held among the students of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion and the Faculty of Design. Today, the market for goods and services is full of offers. Buyers often find themselves in situations where they simply cannot choose one brand among the many that already exist on the market. A recognizable logo facilitates its positioning by creating an individual product image.

Students of the educational programs "Fashion industry", "Computer design in the fashion industry", "Design and technology of garments", "Modeling, design and artistic decoration of light industry products", "Graphic design", "Multimedia design" took part in the competition. The contest became a powerful incentive for revealing the talent of young designers. We have once again made sure that our students are talented and creative, and it's great that they have the opportunity to show it!

Each of the works submitted to the competition contained several versions of the logo, patterns, mockups and text interpretation. All the works reflected the author's design style and original ideas of the contestants. According to the organizers themselves, the level of works submitted to the competition demonstrated the talent and professionalism of most designers, so it was not easy to decide on the winners.

The works were evaluated by Andrii PORTNIAZHYN, director of Vicelli Shoe Production Company. According to the terms of the competition, he selected the best works, the authors of which received cash prizes and diplomas.

1st place – Veronika Volianska;

2nd place – Iryna Vynohradova, Dmytro Pukhno;

3rd place – Polina Bilous, Maria Ponomarenko, Tetiana Nedzelska.

The rest of the participants of the competition received certificates of participation. In addition, the representatives of Vicelli Company shared their impressions of the works submitted to the competition and expressed their opinion about the high level of design ideas, their graphic execution and the progressive approach to the implementation of creative projects by young designers. The works of young contestants received high marks from fashion industry professionals!
