As part of the international project of the INTREPID-HEI Consortium (https://intrepid-hei.eu/ ), higher education graduates of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business became participants in the INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COMPETITION WITH TRAINING IN BUSINESS MODELS CANVAS.
The international competition lasted two days. The first day started with a workshop on building an effective CANVAS business model, conducted by Costin SORICI, Doctor of Science, Associate Professor at Ovid University in Constanta (Romania).
The following topical issues were discussed at the workshop:
1. How to build a profitable CANVAS business model?
2. How to work with the CANVAS business model?
3. Which block of the CANVAS business model describes the most important assets needed to make the business model work?
4. How does this model help to focus on creating the value of a product or service? and others.
The second day was dedicated to the presentation CANVAS business models by the teams, in particular, 5 international teams participated in the competition, which included students of higher education from Universitatea “Ovidius” Constanța (Romania), Iceberg Data Intelligence (Romania), Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg (Germany), VIVES University of Applied Sciences (Belgium), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, namely the graduates of the specialty 076 Entrepreneurship and trade of the second (master's) level of higher education of the department of entrepreneurship and business Roman MOVA, Taras MOLCHANOV and Oleksandr BABAK.
As a result of the jury's vote, the first place was won by the team consisting of the Master of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business Roman MOVA and Olesia ZHUK, graduates of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a presentation of the CANVAS "GREENBEE ECOHIVE" Business Model.
The second place was won by the team number 3, consisting of Taras MOLCHANOV, master of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business, and Maria HOLOVASH of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with the presentation of the CANVAS Business Model "Creation of a mobile application to raise people's awareness of sustainable development and green economy".
We sincerely thank the organizers of the international competition, particularly Paul Schoplocher, from the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg (Germany). Working in groups created an opportunity for the integration of both Ukrainian and foreign applicants, contributed to better mutual understanding and familiarity, the conducted workshop contributed to the deepening of the applicants' knowledge about entrepreneurship, helped to develop entrepreneurial skills, increase the participants' competence in the subject, as well as increase the level of foreign language proficiency.
