On April 16, 2024, an event for World Embroidery Day was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Culture and Creative Industries of Design. The organizers of the event were Lidia Makarenko, director of NNIKKI, and the department of performing arts and culture.

The presenter of the event was Lyudmila Ardelyan , Honored Artist of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture.

Lidia Makarenko, director of the educational and scientific institute of culture and creative industries, was invited to give a welcome speech , emphasizing the importance of preserving and popularizing Ukrainian traditions.

The concert program was attended by teachers of the department of performing arts and culture - Oleksandr Vasylenko , professor, People's Artist of Ukraine, Olena Lukashova , professor of the department, Honored Artist of Ukraine, associate professor of the department and students - Kassiopeia Skotnikova , Daryna Lychman , Anastasia Lemeshko and Valeriya Buryak.

Vyshyvanka Day once again showed how important it is to cherish one's traditions and pass them on to future generations. The celebration took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, uniting Ukrainians around common values and love for the native land.
