Meetings with stakeholders are regularly held at the Faculty of Design of KNUTD with the aim of improving educational and professional programs and increasing the quality of training of design specialists.
On May 9, 2024, a round table was held with stakeholders from the academic community, employers, students of higher education and graduates regarding the discussion of educational programs at the Faculty of Design, specialty 022 Design, field of knowledge 02 Culture and Art, educational levels: first (bachelor), second (master), the third (doctor of philosophy). Bachelor's degree programs "Graphic Design", "Multimedia Design", "Environmental Design", "Fashion Design", master's level programs "Design (by types)", "Environmental Design", "Fashion Design", educational and scientific program for Doctor of Philosophy "Design" were discussed. The event was held in a hybrid format.
The moderator of the event was Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, who addressed the participants of the round table with an introductory speech and emphasized the importance of stakeholder participation in the development of the EPP in order to improve their content in accordance with the needs of the modern labor market.
The discussion was attended by the representatives from stakeholders from among employers and graduates, as well as from the academic community, scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions of Ukraine, which train specialists in the specialty 022 "Design":

The guarantors of the educational programs Kalyna Pashkevych, Natalia Chuprina, Olena Vasylieva, Danylo Kosenko, Olena Gerasymenko, Ruslana Khynevych, Tetiana Bulhakova, Tetiana Krotova familiarized the stakeholders with the features of the educational programs, the main goals, educational components that contribute to the formation of general and professional competencies, as well as achievement of program learning outcomes.

Kateryna Sanina drew attention to the importance of expanding the competencies of applicants in business education and the ability to possess entrepreneurial skills for carrying out design activities, because many modern designers work on a freelance basis; Yulia Tretiak made suggestions regarding the clarification of the names of the disciplines of the EP "Environmental Design" at the master's level; Natalia Skliarenko noted the positive direction of the EP, the presence of EC, within the framework of which education seekers learn the basics of scientific research, which is important for the performance of qualification work; Ruslana Bezugla emphasized the importance of studying the history and basics of advertising development within the framework of training graphic designers; Larysa Krasniuk proposed to strengthen the environmental component in the educational components of the EPP and ESP; Kostiantyn Kozhemiaka drew the attention of education seekers to the editions of the ArtHuss publishing house for designers in Ukrainian and English for coursework and qualification work. The colleagues shared their own experience of training designers in higher education institutions of Ukraine and generally praised the content of the EPs, as well as provided suggestions for their improvement.

During the event, members of working groups for the development of the EPs and academic staff of the departments (I. Davydenko, V. Batrak, V. Skliarenko, I. Chubotina, O. Kolisnyk, Ye. Gula, M. Rudenko, O. Maznichenko, R. Mykhaylova, O. Shmelyova, V. Abyzov, O. Slitiuk, A. Shapoval, and others), postgraduate students (N. Liuklian, O. Tereshchenko, Ye. Derevyanko, O. Skaskiv, O. Vasiliev, O. Serbin and etc.) made proposals and got acquainted with the proposals of other stakeholders regarding the constituent educational components of the EPs and the need to deepen the study of certain topics in order to improve the quality of specialist training. The higher education seekers at the bachelor’s level (D. Karpenko, O. Semenenko, M. Murzakova, K. Danylenko, Yu. Georgieva, etc.) and masters (M. Siminko, R. Chugunov, A. Khlan, T. Kucher, etc.) took an active part in the discussion of the EP of the Faculty of Design in the specialty 022 Design.

Based on the results of the online meeting, a number of suggestions from stakeholders regarding the improvement of projects of educational-professional and educational-scientific programs were agreed upon, which will be taken into account during their modernization.
