This year, there have been changes in the conditions for admission to the second (master’s) level of higher education. On May 2, 2024, the Faculty of Arts and Fashion of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted an online seminar for applicants for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education who plan to do a master's degree programme in 2024.
The Faculty of Arts and Fashion is enrolling students for master’s degree programmes in the following specialties and educational and professional programmes:
Oksana Vodzinska, Associate Professor of Fashion Technology, made a report and presentation on the peculiarities of the 2024 admission campaign at the seminar.
She told the potential applicants about the types of entrance examinations, emphasised the need to pass the Unified Entrance Examination (UEE) for admission to the Master's degree programme. Another prerequisite for admission is passing the Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE) for the speciality 015.36 “Professional Education (by Specialisation)” and the Professional Entrance Exam (in HEIs) for the specialty 182 “Light Industry Technologies”.
The seminar focused on the timing and stages of the admission campaign, emphasised the conditions for the main and additional sessions of the UEE and the UPEE, the possibility for applicants to choose the place of their passing, as well as the same conditions for admission to study under the state order and under the contract (at the expense of individuals and legal entities).
It was noted that from 7 to 29 May, KNUTD will accept documents for registration for the UEE and UPEE. We are waiting for applicants with documents in the Dean’s office at the Faculty of Arts and Fashion (Room 1-0360) every day, except weekends, from 10 am to 5 pm. The person in charge of registration at the faculty is Deputy Dean Tatiana Dzykovych, Associate Professor of Fashion Technology.
After the presentation, the students asked questions about the most difficult moments of the admission campaign, learned about the intricacies of the application form, and the peculiarities of creating an electronic office for applicants. The participants of the seminar were interested in the cost and terms of studying for a master's degree, the specifics of admission for privileged categories of applicants, and the possibility of studying at the expense of the state order.
