Last week, the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies organized and held a series of events aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of higher education students in the fields of information technology, automation, robotics, mechatronics, applied mechanics and mechanical engineering for light industry. The program included open lectures, master classes, workshops, quests and competitions conducted by experienced professionals-practitioners and leading scientific and pedagogical workers of KNUTD.
The first event was a master class on robotics, conducted by Yuriy Lebedenko, associate professor of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies. Visitors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the basics of robotics and learn about the latest trends in this field. Yuriy Lebedenko shared his experience in developing robotic systems and demonstrated several practical examples.
Full stack developer Vladyslav Pylypenko held a programming workshop "IT Workshop", which gave participants the opportunity to apply programming knowledge in practice. Vladyslav Pylypenko helped students of higher education develop their own projects and provided useful advice.
Senior fullstack developer Vladyslav Meteleshko gave interesting lectures. His first lecture "Go to IT: millions of opportunities" was devoted to various career opportunities in IT. Vladyslav Meteleshko talked about different roles, responsibilities and ways of professional development. The second lecture "To be or not to be a full stack developer?" was devoted to the analysis of the full stack developer profession. Vladyslav Meteleshko examined in detail the advantages and disadvantages of this profession, helping those seeking higher education to better understand whether this path is suitable for them.
A master class on engineering 3D modeling in SolidWorks by the associate professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Oleksandr Manoilenko gave participants the opportunity to learn the basics of 3D modeling using SolidWorks software. Oleksandr Manoilenko showed how to create complex models and use various tools to optimize projects.
As part of the faculty week, a competition for engineering 3D modeling in SolidWorks was held by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of KNUTD. The competition attracted many graduates of bachelor's and master's levels of higher education, as well as future doctors of philosophy. Winners demonstrated their skills in creating engineering 3D models. The jury, which included teachers of the department, evaluated the works and determined the winners.
At the master class on 3D modeling in Cinema4D, conducted by the head of the 3D design school "LuxDe School" Dmytro Bezugliy, students of higher education got acquainted with the possibilities of the Cinema4D software for creating three-dimensional graphics. Dmytro Bezugliy shared his secrets of successful design and animation.
The student self-government of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, headed by Dmytro Malygin, organized the "Secret Engineer" quest. This event took the form of an interactive game, where students of higher education solved various technical tasks and puzzles, promoting the development of teamwork and creative thinking.
The week of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies ended with the awarding of the best graduates of higher education, who were ceremoniously presented with diplomas by Vice-Rector Lyudmila Ganushchak-Efimenko. It became an important event that emphasized the importance of training and professional development of higher education students.
The week of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies turned out to be rich and useful for all participants. It not only expanded knowledge and skills, but also provided an opportunity to interact with experienced professionals, share innovative and creative ideas in the fields of information technology, automation, robotics, mechatronics, applied mechanics and mechanical engineering for light industry, which is an important step in their professional career development.
