On May 8, 2024, a final online meeting took place between students and academic staff members of the Faculty of Design (KNUTD) and representatives of Birmingham City University (UK) as part of the joint international student project "Global Live Project: A Portal Connecting Universities" (Birmingham-Kyiv). This project involves the development of designs in the areas of fashion design and multimedia design.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the project results at a virtual exhibition organized by students from the Departments of Costume Art and Multimedia Design of KNUTD, namely: Daryna Kozachyshche, Maria Ponomarenko, Kira Syzko, Polina Kviatkovska, Yulia Heorhieva, Anastasia Yanchuk, Nadiya Hroshenko, and students from the Faculty of Arts, Fashion, and Media of Birmingham City University (UK). The project curators are lecturers from Birmingham City University, Lara Furniss and Kateryna Chrichlow, and KNUTD lecturers Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, and Olena Vasylieva, Head of the Department of Multimedia Design. The academic staff members of the Faculty of Design were invited to view the virtual exhibition.

The projects presented at the meeting, such as the virtual clothing collection "EXCHANGE OF CULTURES UKRAINE X UK 2024", the web design "Portal UK-raine", and the game design "Historical AR", were very engaging. The participants showcased their work and discussed the idea development process and project execution stages with the audience.

One of the projects demonstrated, the virtual clothing collection "EXCHANGE OF CULTURES UKRAINE X UK 2024", embodied the idea of cultural exchange between Ukraine and the UK. This project offered an innovative perspective on blending the cultural traditions of these countries with modern fashion elements through digital technologies. The virtual collection "EXCHANGE OF CULTURES UKRAINE X UK 2024" was submitted to the "Pecherski Kashtany" competition in the DIGITAL-FASHION category.

This meeting marked another step in strengthening the international collaboration between KNUTD and Birmingham City University. The project participants showcased not only their professional skills but also a high level of creativity and teamwork abilities. They demonstrated how collaboration between students from different countries could lead to the creation of innovative and unique projects. The lecturers and students from KNUTD and BCU expressed their hope for continued cooperation in the future and the creation of new joint projects.
