INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF KNUTD AT LAVOSLAV RUZHYCHKA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM, REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

From May 6 to 10, 2024, representatives of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD) took part in the annual international event "VEVU ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2024".

The event was held within the framework of the international academic mobility program ERASMUS+, in accordance with the inter-institutional agreement 2023-1-HR01-KA171-HED 000132207, at the University of Applied Sciences named after "Lavoslava Ružička" in the city of Vukovar, Republic of Croatia.

Greetings from VEVU rector Zeiko Sudarik and vice-rector for international relations Sani Gongeta.

Representatives of 22 higher education institutions from Ukraine, Georgia, Finland, Albania, Romania, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia took part in the event.

The delegation from KNUTD included Lyudmila GANUSHCHAK-YEFIMENKO, vice-rector for scientific and innovative activities, Nataliya FASTOVETS, associate professor of the department of private and public law, Anna SYNILKINA, coordinator of the sector of international educational programs.

The purpose of the Erasmus+ International Study Week was to establish cooperation between teachers and expert practitioners who want to learn more about the ERASMUS+ program; study of the challenges and opportunities of the ERASMUS+ Program; favorable internationalization of higher education in Europe and the world.

The experience exchange program included a workshop on the topic "Artificial intelligence - improvement of educational cases", conducted by the professor of the project management department of the Finnish university OULU Jaakko Kujala.

The main idea of the workshop: The use of artificial intelligence tools to systematize data in teamwork and a personalized experience of acquiring knowledge according to the individual needs of each student.

Jaakko Kujalo emphasized that artificial intelligence is changing the academic landscape as a support for higher education processes, not a replacement for human intelligence.

The Erasmus+ international study week at VEVU University was full of events.

From May 7 to May 9, 2024, teachers invited to participate in the program conducted lectures and trainings for students.

 

Training "Case Generation of an innovative idea and project" by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Lyudmila HANUSHCHAK-YEFIMENKO for students of VEVU University.

Lecture "Institutional Foundations for the Economic Recovery of Ukraine after the War" by Nataliya FASTOVETS, PhD in Public Administration, Associate Professor of the Department of Private and Public Law for students of VEVU University.

Training from the ERASMUS+ project coordinator of VEVU University, Karolina Novitz, as part of Anna Sinilkina's individual internship plan.

The final day of the "Partners HEI Fair" was the successful finale of the VEVU ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2024. This event brought together students, teachers of VEVU University, as well as guests from different countries, providing them with an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and make contacts.

As part of the "Partners HEI Fair", representatives of various educational institutions had the opportunity to talk about their educational programs, share important contacts and find potential partners for future projects.

The Partners HEI Fair event concluded a week filled with discussions, workshops and cultural events, highlighting the importance of international dialogue in education.

The presentation of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, which allowed the participants to learn more about the educational opportunities and cultural life of the KNUTD educational space, aroused considerable interest.

The participants of the event noted that such an event is an important step in the development of international educational relations and contributes to the expansion of academic cooperation.

VEVU ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2024 has ended, but the echoes of its events will continue to inspire participants to new achievements and partnerships!
