On behalf of the Rector of the University, Ivan Gryshchenko, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, took part in the General Assembly of CUMULUS - the association of educational institutions for internationalization and global mobility, knowledge exchange and cooperation in the field of art and design. KNUTD has been a member of the CUMULUS association since 2021, but for the first time a representative of the University joined the community in an offline format.
The assembly was held as part of the Cumulus Budapest 2024 conference on May 15-17, 2024 at the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design (MOME) (Budapest, Hungary).
There were over 500 participants of the conference from different countries of the world and continents.
During the General Assembly of CUMULUS, the representatives of various institutions discussed the results of the organization's activities for the past year, listened to the reports of the members of the association's Secretariat and planned further activities for 2025. President of CUMULUS, Professor Lorenzo Imbesi spoke about the new members who joined the association in 2024, member of the Secretariat Salmi Eija reported on the financial expenses of the organization in the current year.
During the conference, plenary sessions, numerous master classes, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, excursions were held simultaneously on different platforms and locations.

The meeting participants had a unique opportunity to learn the latest design knowledge from partners and share their achievements.
On behalf of the Rector of our University, Ivan Gryshchenko, the Dean of the Faculty of Design handed over a book about KNUTD to József Fülöp, Rector of the Mohoy-Nagy University of Art and Design and discussed intentions for further cooperation.
The colleagues from the Mohoy-Nagy University of Art and Design conducted a tour and introduced the conference participants to the methods of training designers, because they have been training designers of clothes, shoes, hats, furniture, architects, photo-video designers, graphic artists, etc. for many years.

A pleasant impression of the material base of the Hungarian university is the presence of equipped educational laboratories and workshops for the practical training of future specialists: a furniture workshop, a 3D laboratory, a sewing, shoe, textile laboratory, a workshop for the manufacture of headgear, jewelry, etc.

At that time, educational classes were held at the University, so there was an opportunity to exchange learning methods and get acquainted with designer training programs.
