On 24.05.2023, the last meeting of the "THEORY OF CHOICE AND DECISION MAKING" club was held at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Department of Applied Physics and Higher Mathematics, which aims to broaden scientific horizons, introduce current applied problems, teach to formalize a practical problem in the language of mathematics, justify the model and analyze research results; to acquire the skills of a speaker - a researcher of a particular problem.

Topic: "Elements of dynamic programming. The example of the company "Reliable supplier""

The club was attended by students of groups BIT 1-23, BIT 2-23, BIT 3-23. They discussed the method of recurrent relations, R. Belman's optimality principle, the example of the company "Reliable Supplier", and the loading problem.

On the example of simpler mathematical models, such as differential equations, students learned to justify the choice of model, to reasonably reveal the disadvantages and advantages of the chosen solution strategies and to answer questions that arose in the audience.
