The professional holiday, the Day of Textile and Light Industry Workers, is coming (annually in Ukraine on the 2nd Sunday of June). This year, it is celebrated on June 9. In order to popularize and draw attention to the problems of the light industry, the Faculty of Arts and Fashion is holding the Week of Textile and Light Industry on the eve of the professional holiday.

On May 27, 2024, a master class on making professional symbols using accessories was held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design at the location near the Museum of the University History.

Unusual and creative things always attract the eye. The participants skillfully mastered the technology of creating a flower by combining colored zippers from pre-prepared material, using them both open and closed. Easy to make, easy to use, meaningful and aesthetically pleasing, the resulting handmade flowers can be used to decorate clothes, bags and as gifts or souvenirs.

The organizers of the event – lecturers and student self-government activists of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion – were also joined by the students of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies.
