The participants of the meeting discussed the current state and trends in the field of preventing and combating domestic violence, the features of bringing guilty persons to administrative and criminal responsibility for committing domestic violence, judicial practice in proceedings related to domestic violence, the experience of foreign countries in the field of preventing and combating domestic violence, ways of improvement legislation on prevention and combating domestic violence.

On May 30, 2024, a meeting of the scientific group «Discussion» took place (head of the scientific group N.V. Fastovets), during which students of higher education improved their skills in writing scientific theses, considering their concept, structure and requirements for design.

During the meeting, typical mistakes made by students of higher education when writing scientific theses, such as chaos and lack of logic, were discussed in detail. The rules by which the structure of theses is built, which should contain condensed statements of the main ideas of scientific research in the form of arguments, were highlighted. In addition, trainees have expanded their knowledge of theses writing styles. Special attention was paid to the correct sequence of the description of the material and the logical structure of theses. The event contributed to the improvement of students' professional skills and their readiness for professional scientific activity.

On May 31, 2024, a meeting of the scientific group «Actual issues of private law» was held (the head of the scientific group is O.M. Koval). Topic: «Legal regulation of data protection in the digital age».

During the event, various aspects of data protection were considered their legal significance, the specifics of ensuring confidentiality and information security. Special attention was paid to legal regulation of personal data protection in the context of rapid development of digital technologies.
