Development of the innovation ecosystem of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design as part of the implementation of the international scientific project INTREPID-HEI: Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education

On May 25-31, representatives of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design summarized the results of the international scientific project INTREPID-HEI: Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education in Constanta, Romania.

Since 2022, the University has been involved in the implementation of the project as part of the INTREPID-HEI Consortium "International Capacity Building in Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship" (Urban Mobility, 2022–2024), consisting of 9 participating partners, which is financed under the EIT HEI program: Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education.

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is an EU body and an integral part of the Horizon Europe project, and the EIT Higher Education Program (EIT HEI) is a key strategic priority within the EIT Strategic Innovation Agenda for 2021-2027.

 

 

 

 

The final meeting was attended by representatives of the consortium partners, namely: Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg (Germany), Université Clermont Auvergne (France), Iceberg Data Intelligence (Romania), Høgskulen på Vestlandet (Norway), ŠKODA AUTO Vysoká škola o.p.s. (Czech Republic), VIVES University of Applied Sciences (Belgium), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine), Universitatea “Ovidius” din Constanta (Romania).

At the university, the implementation of the project became an effective platform for building an innovative ecosystem and developing innovative activities, technology transfer. To ensure the sustainability of the University's innovation ecosystem, the concept of the virtual innovation hub and the development of technology transfer within the Educational Investment and Technology Cluster of Light Industry was formed and implemented.

The project was presented by the University: Vice-Rector for for Research and Innovation, Prof., Doctor of Economic Sciences Liudmila Hanushchak-Efimenko; Svitlana Arabuli, director of the International Institute of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies, docent, candidate of technical sciences.

During the final reporting meeting, the main issue was the preparation of reporting documentation on successful cases of project implementation, as well as discussion of further joint initiatives to build innovative ecosystems!
