Even amid the crisis caused by the full-scale war, Kyiv National University of Technology and Design continues to actively develop its educational infrastructure.

On May 27, 2024, the Faculty of Management and Business Design held an official grand opening of the amphitheater lecture hall (4-0202), which is equipped with modern multimedia interactive equipment.

Ivan Hryshchenko, Rector of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, took part in the opening ceremony of the modern amphitheater lecture hall. Ivan Mykhailovych emphasized that the existence of universities under martial law, daily air raids, power outages, and critical infrastructure damaged by Russian invaders are important social challenges, and there is no more important task for educators and scientists than to educate a new generation that has the opportunity to gain knowledge thanks to our courageous defenders, our Armed Forces and Air Defense, and using modern technical support in the learning process. Ivan Mykhailovych solemnly congratulated all those present on this event and wished the guests success.

The opening ceremony was attended by Oleksandra Olshanska, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, Mykhailo Vergun, Chief Accountant and Vice-Rector for Financial, Economic and Social Work, and Volodymyr Bobrovnyk, Vice-Rector for Academic and Production and Development, Borys Zlotenko, Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Tetiana Derkach, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies, Ihor Panasiuk, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies, Tetiana Vlasiuk, Director of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies, Yuliia Biriukova, Director of the Institute of Academic Mobility and Cooperation, as well as representatives of faculties, departments, and students.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to discuss the prospects for the development of the university's classroom fund, the possibilities of using the already functioning modern classrooms of other faculties and institutes of KNUTD, in order to improve the quality of training and conduct trainings and master classes as part of the university's development.
