Students of the Faculty of Design took part and won prizes in the international review-competition of qualification works, research and didactic papers in the specialty 022 "Design" at the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education "SPRING DESIGN-FEST" and confirmed the high level of training of designers and knowledge obtained at KNUTD. The competition was organized by the Faculty of Design at the Mykhailo Boichuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative-Applied Arts and Design.

The purpose of the review-competition was to encourage talented young people to research, develop professional skills, share experience and best practices in the performance of qualification works, their scientific and applied content, to improve the quality of educational and methodological materials used in the training of higher education seekers of the specialty 022 "Design".

Students of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD took part in the Graphic Design, Environmental Design, and Multimedia Design nominations. The works were reviewed anonymously and independently by members of the professional commission. Among the various design universities of Ukraine, the winners of the competition were the following graduates of our University:

First (bachelor’s) level of higher education

II DEGREE DIPLOMA

Alina Khlan. The supervisor is PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design Ruslan Agliullin. The work is presented in the Environmental Design nomination and contains the concept of a sports and health facility and the design project of the interior space.

III DEGREE DIPLOMA

Maria Strizhkova. The supervisor is Associate Professor of the Department of Multimedia Design Vadym Batrak. The work is presented in the Multimedia Design nomination and is dedicated to the specifics of developing a design-layout of a website in the field of advertising commercial automotive equipment.

Second (master's) level of higher education

II DEGREE DIPLOMA

San Zhao. The supervisor is PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Graphic Design Olha Mykhailiuk. The work is presented in the Graphic Design nomination and is aimed at the development of an interactive children’s book, taking into account key aspects of cognitive ergonomics and the theory of interactive design.
