On June 27, 2024, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design held a solemn event on the occasion of the bachelor graduation. The ceremony was opened by Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Congratulating the graduates on the successful completion of this stage of their educational journey, Ivan Mykhailovych emphasized that the desire to study at KNUTD, in Ukraine, to pursue their goals in difficult wartime conditions, was a solid motivation for this year's graduates to become successful professionals. Each student of KNUTD receives a high-quality educational foundation that enables them to develop to the highest professional levels and take a decisive stand in the country’s development in the post-war period.

For the graduates of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion in the educational programs "Professional Education", "Modeling, Design and Artistic Decoration of Light Industry Products", "Fashion Industry", "Design and Technology of Garments", the celebration continued in the Mykhailo Voronin Conference Hall of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. Graduates, curators, parents and all those who contributed their work and sensitive hearts to the formation of highly qualified specialists – graduates of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion – gathered here in the family circle of the Faculty.

Natalia Ostapenko, Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, delivered a welcoming speech. She congratulated the graduates on the beginning of a new stage of their lives and wished them a successful career and that the graduate’s diploma of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design would become not just a document of higher education, but also a reliable guide on their professional path, a source of pride and a sign of belonging to the thousands-strong KNUTD family.

Maria Bilyanska, Head of the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design, Antonina Babych, Associate Professor of the Department of Fashion Technology, Halyna Oliynyk, Associate Professor of the Department of Fashion and Style, Alla Kolodiazhna, Deputy Dean, warmly greeted all those present and wished the graduates of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion that all the knowledge, skills and abilities they had acquired while studying at the University would become a guarantee of the well-being and prosperity of their families.

The representatives of the Ballistics Company, which produces ballistic protection and military equipment, also addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech and invited them to work at the garment company.

On behalf of the students, Karina Arendar, a student of the Department of Fashion and Style, addressed the faculty and staff members with words of gratitude for the knowledge, skills and abilities they had acquired.

The joint photo of the 2024 graduates will remain a good memory of the happiest student years, and for the teachers it will preserve the warmest smiles of their students and the light sadness of this solemn and significant moment.
