On July 27, 2024, more than 360 students took a military oath of loyalty to the Ukrainian people and received officer ranks at the National Defense University of Ukraine. Among them, there are 36 students of the Educational and Scientific Complex of Military Training of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, who received a degree in “Organization of food, material, skippering and commercial support”.

The new officers were congratulated by the head of the NDUU, colonel-general Mykhailo Koval. Viacheslav Popelny, assistant to the Rector for Military Training and Patriotic Education, took part in the solemn ceremony on behalf of the Rector of KNUTD Ivan Gryshchenko, Professor and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The military oath symbolizes the willingness to serve with dedication, honor and high professionalism, observing military discipline. In the conditions of Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine, the decision to undertake military duty is a sign of courage, patriotism and responsibility. Military service requires considerable effort, dedication and discipline. We are sure that the knowledge, skills and solidarity of our students will help overcome any difficulties.
