News -WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS OF THE EP “DIGITAL ART”

On August 6, 2024, in order to improve the quality of the educational process, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education, an online workshop was held on the Ukraine Global Faculty platform by Mykhailo Patsan, the founder of the Web3-university of future professions “Learn to Earn Global” and blockchain platform “Amsets” for students of the first (bachelor’s) level of the EP “Digital Art”, on the topic “ChatGPT. AI tools you didn’t know about before”. The involvement of practitioners is a significant positive lever for the development of future professionals in digital industry. The academic staff of the Department of Digital Art also joined the workshop for the purpose of professional development and expansion of competencies.

During the workshop, Mykhailo Patsan focused on new technologies, in particular the possibilities of artificial intelligence, and delved into the latest achievements of ChatGPT. This workshop covered new features in ChatGPT. He outlined the horizons of using artificial intelligence for a wide range of practical tasks for digital artists, namely: generating ideas for developing character concepts; creation of detailed descriptions of characters; development of a story line or scene in a lore; ways to find references for certain styles, colors or shapes; revealed the possibilities of curation in technical matters and in the creation of questionnaires. It is worth emphasizing that the online workshop revealed a high level of interest among students and academic staff of the Department of Digital Art, and certificates were obtained based on the results.
