From 07/15/2024 to 08/04/2024 The department of digital art of KNUTD took part in an online plein air on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the birth of Ilya Repin, the event was organized by the Chuguyiv City Military Administration, the Cultural Center "Image", the Chuguyiv Children's Art School named after I. Yu. Repin, by the I. Yu. Repin Art Memorial Museum, with the support of the Ukrainian Center for Cultural Studies under the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.

On August 5, 2024, the official opening of the 24th International Repin plein air exhibition took place , professional artists from different parts of Ukraine and the world participated in the event.

The event was attended by students of the 2nd year of study of the OP "Digital Art" , who created homages to the paintings of a famous Ukrainian master under the guidance of a well-known Ukrainian artist , doctor of philosophy, Olesya Rybchenko , Associate Professor of the Department of Digital Art of KNUTD .

Project participants received gifts, diplomas and thanks from the organizers.

Despite the incredibly difficult situation in the Kharkiv region due to constant massive shelling from the territory of Russia , the atmosphere of the online event in the city of Chuguiv was full of creativity and positivity. The organizers managed to unite the artists around one common goal - popularization of national culture and preservation of Ukrainian heritage.

Artworks created during the 21st V International Repin plein air exhibition will be presented in August 2024 at various art fairs in Ukraine, in particular in Kharkiv and Kyiv.
