Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design is a member of the European Network of Academic Integrity (ENAI). ENAI members focus on promoting the values of academic integrity through the development and free access to educational resources on academic integrity and strive to provide education, support and space for networking.

Traditionally, at the beginning of the new academic year, Professor, Doctor of Cultural Studies, Head of the Center for Educational Quality Management Olena STEPANOVA gave a lecture on “Principles of Academic Integrity of Students of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design” for first-year students of the departments of Fashion Technology, Fashion and Style, Professional Education in Technology and Design of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion of KNUTD.

On August 22, 2024, Olena Anatoliivna told the students of the educational programs “Psychology”, “Modeling, Design and Artistic Decoration of Light Industry Products”, “Fashion Industry”, “Design and Technology of Garments” about the main legislative acts on which the “KNUTD Code of Academic Integrity” is based and revealed the essence of such concepts as “academic integrity”, “academic plagiarism”, etc.

The lecturer also emphasized to the students that the observance of academic integrity by higher education students at the University involves: independent performance of educational tasks, tasks of current and final control of learning outcomes; references to sources of information when using ideas, developments, statements; compliance with copyright and related rights legislation; provision of reliable information about the results of their educational (scientific, creative) activities, used research methods and sources of information.
