THE STAFF OF THE INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES WELCOMES THE STUDENTS OF THE FIRST YEAR OF STUDY

On August 19, 2024, a meeting of first-year students with teachers, supervisors, representatives of student self-government and the trade union committee took place at the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies.

The event was opened by Igor Panasiuk, director of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies. On behalf of the rector of the university Ivan Gryshchenko, doctor of economic sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Igor Panasiuk congratulated the first-year students on their successful admission to Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. He thanked the first-year students for consciously choosing quality education at the KNUTD.

Igor Panasiuk spoke about security measures at the university during the announcement of the air alert, the "Student Cafe" educational center, the scientific and technical library, the KNUTD Ecoclub, and the KNUTD Energy Efficiency Center.

Igor Panasiuk introduced Iryna Oleynikova, head of the department of applied physics and higher mathematics, and Dmytro Statsenko, head of the department of computer engineering and information technologies. Heads of departments talked about the powerful teaching staff and introduced the curators of academic groups. The curators of the groups made a short presentation, explaining how they will help students adapt to the new educational format.

Important information was provided by Oleg Yerko, head of the Student Council of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies, and Anastasia Lyhopud, head of the student trade union committee of the institute. They talked about the events planned at KNUTD during the year, opportunities for self-development and protection of students' rights.

The meeting took place in a friendly, positive atmosphere. Freshmen received useful information, met future mentors and felt support that will help them successfully begin their journey within the walls of KNUTD.

We sincerely wish freshmen good luck, inspiration, creativity and creativity!
