On August 28, 2024, a lecture on the topic "Principles of academic integrity of students of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design" was held for students of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, which was delivered by Olena STEPANOVA, professor, doctor of cultural studies, head of the Center for Quality Management of Educational Activities of KNUTD.

The lecture was attended by students studying under the educational programs of the faculty: "Software engineering"; "Computer Science"; "Cyber security engineering"; "Management of IT projects"; "Applied mechanics"; "Engineering"; "Automation and computer-integrated technologies".

During the lecture, the key aspects of academic integrity were highlighted, the need to observe its principles by all participants in educational and scientific activities was emphasized.

As a result of the lecture, the students realized the important role that academic integrity plays in the performance of educational tasks, tasks of current and final control of learning results; references to sources of information in the case of using ideas, developments, statements; compliance with the legislation on copyright and related rights; provision of reliable information about the results of one's own educational (scientific, creative) activities, used research methods and sources of information.

Olena STEPANOVOVA's lecture became a guarantee of compliance with the principles of academic integrity by all students of education and scientific and pedagogical workers of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies.
