On September 4, 2024, students of the first (bachelor’s) level, specialty 075 “Marketing”, educational programme “Marketing”, together with curators Olena Yevseitseva and Yurii Horodetskyi visited the Scientific and Technical Library of KNUTD. An interesting lecture was held for students, during which they got acquainted with the rules of conduct in the library, the registration process and the possibilities of using reading rooms. The KNUTD library operates with the use of the latest information and communication technologies, and an important aspect of the meeting was the explanation of the features of using the electronic catalogue, which reflects the active library collection.

Particular attention was paid to the demonstration of rare and collectible editions, which are the pride of the library.  The students also got acquainted with the works of contemporary Ukrainian authors, which allowed them to both touch upon the literary heritage and plunge into the world of current trends in Ukrainian literature.

The visit to the library became an important event in the first-year students’ life, allowing them not only to gain new knowledge, but also to understand the importance of using library resources for successful study and research.  The library staff emphasized the importance of regular visits to the library as a key tool for deepening knowledge and developing analytical skills.
