On 11 September, 2024, an online seminar for master’s students of the Faculty of Design “Rules for the preparation and design of qualification work” was held.
The seminar was moderated by Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Design. The seminar was attended by master’s supervisors, heads of the departments of the Faculty, as well as guarantors of the master’s degree programmes in Fashion Design – Olena Herasymenko, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Costume Design, EP “Environmental Design” - Tetiana Bulhakova, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, EP “Design (by Type)” - Ruslana Khinevych, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Multimedia Design.
Nataliia Chuprina, Doctor of Arts, Professor, Head of the Department of Art and Costume Design, told the masters about the stages of work preparation and organisational issues of preparation for defence, the defence procedure, preparation of a report and presentation.
Danylo Kosenko, PhD in Art History, Head of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, spoke about the requirements for the structure of master's theses: title page, assignment form, abstract, table of contents, and list of references.
Olha Yezhova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Graphic Design, emphasised the need to comply with standards when compiling a list of references. Using specific examples, the master's students were introduced to the requirements for the structure of the work, the design of illustrations, tables and appendices.
Ruslana Bezugla, Doctor of Arts, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Graphic Design, and Olena Vasylieva, PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Multimedia Design, told the participants about the requirements for the design of the graphic part of the qualification work.
The students of Groups MgD1-23, MgDo-23, MgDs-23, who attended the seminar, actively asked questions, clarified the requirements for the design of the text and graphic parts of the qualification work, especially Ruslan Chuhunov, Veronika Avramchuk, Anastasia Trykoz, Tetiana Kucher and other students were active.
