On September 11, 2024, a meeting of curators of academic groups of the Faculty of Design was held. The organizers of the event were Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Design Faculty, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Oleksandr Vasyliev, Deputy Dean for Educational Work, Assistant at the Department of Graphic Design, and Olena Gerasymenko, Deputy Dean for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor.

The heads of departments of the Faculty of Design and curators of academic groups of the first (undergraduate) educational level of the educational programs "Fashion Design", "Environmental Design", "Graphic Design", "Multimedia Design" took part in the event.

The participants of the meeting considered the actual issues related to taking care of the mental health of students during the wartime, which is difficult for every Ukrainian. They discussed the necessity of conducting educational discussions regarding the discipline and success of the students' education, the importance of regular visits by the curators of the dormitories in order to control the living conditions of the students, etc. 

Special attention was paid to the organization of various cultural-educational and national-patriotic events, as well as the issue of academic integrity and the resolution of conflict situations. Those present also emphasized the importance of artistic and aesthetic education in the formation of the national identity of students of higher education, in particular through visits to exhibitions, museums and theaters, open lectures organized at the university and beyond; involvement of students in volunteer activities, in participation in charitable actions, in scientific, cultural, artistic and sports life of the university.

The curators discussed the plan of educational work for the first semester of 2024-2025, the need for close communication with group leaders and members of the student government. The meetings were held in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
