On September 25, 2024, an online meeting was held with KNUTD partners as part of the "Three Seas Initiative Cultural Cooperation Network" project - representatives of the University of the National Education Commission (UKEN), Republic of Poland.

On behalf of Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, welcomed the participants of the meeting. Kalyna Livianivna presented the main areas of activity of the Faculty of Design, talked about the peculiarities of training future designers at KNUTD.

The meeting was attended by Danylo Kosenko, Head of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, Olena Vasylieva, Head of the Department of Multimedia Design, Ruslana Bezugla, Head of the Department of Graphic Design, Olena Herasymenko, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Design, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, Ruslana Khinevych, Associate Professor of the Department of Multimedia Design, as well as Inna Makhovych, teacher of the Department of Philology and Translation of KNUTD.

Lukash Murzhyn, PhD, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Art of the University of the National Education Commission presented the departments of the partner Faculty, talked about possible ways of developing cooperation between the universities in the field of culture and art.

Katarzyna Wojdyla, PhD, Head of the Department of Visual Communication, curator of the "Krakow Art Week / Three Seas Art Festival" design exhibition, spoke about the planned events in the spring of 2025 as part of the "Three Seas Initiative", presented the exhibition space, the gallery where the exposition is planned. Mrs. Katarzyna noted that the central theme of the first Art Festival of the Three Seas will be "Fair development".

Lukash Murzhyn offered the teachers of the Faculty of Design to dedicate their creative works for the spring exposition in Krakow to the topics of ways to end the war in Ukraine, counter the growing security crisis in the world, and support the victims of the conflict.

Agnieszka Lukshevska, PhD, Professor, Director of the UKEN Institute of Art and Design expressed her willingness to cooperate in conducting lectures by guest professors, academic mobility of students and teachers.

Krzysztof Marhljak, coordinator of the Art Festival of the Three Seas, and Jakub Pjerhala, Professor, Deputy Director of the UKEN Institute of Art and Design, also gave speeches.

The heads of the departments of the Faculty of Design invited Polish colleagues to participate in the 7th scientific and practical conference "Topical Issues of Modern Design" (April 2025), in the competition of student research papers in the direction of "Art and Design", in the international competition “Hariacha Kryha” (“Hot Ice”) and other international competitions organized by KNUTD. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere; the parties discussed many joint projects and ways of further cooperation.
