Embroidery is one of the prominent types of decorative and applied art and the cultural code of the nation. The following geometric shapes are present in Ukrainian embroidery: circle, square, rectangle and rhombus. The main patterns of ancient embroidery are vegetal, geometric and zoomorphic. Embroidery includes more than 200 types of execution techniques (seams), an innumerable number of ornaments, motifs, compositions, and a colorful color scheme. Each region was distinguished by its individuality and uniqueness of patterns. Even some villages of Ukraine had their own unique techniques for making ornaments.

This is one of the interesting places of the university where unique artifacts, antiques and authentic products are presented, which combine hard work, generosity, sincerity and national characteristics of the Ukrainian people.
