On October 2, 2024 a working online meeting was held between the academic staff of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) and a representative of the Kharkiv IT Cluster. The following members from KNUTD participated: Head of the Department Vladyslava Skidan, Professor Oleh Nikonov, Associate Professors Antonina Volivach, Yurii Lebedenko, Dmytro Novak, and Senior Lecturer Vladyslav Pylypenko. The Kharkiv IT Cluster was represented by Project Manager Mariia Rudynska.

The meeting focused on discussing cooperation between the parties in the following areas:

• ensuring quality career guidance for students;
• promoting IT disciplines among students and faculty members;
• increasing the competitiveness of faculty and students in the modern job market;
• opportunities for students to undertake internships and placements at leading IT companies;
• Engaging students in volunteer activities at cluster events;

Cooperation in the modernization of educational programs such as “Software Engineering” and “IT Project Management” in line with market demands.

Additionally, issues of information partnership, participation in conferences, and the involvement of leading lecturers in the educational process at KNUTD were discussed.
