In September 2024, the internship of Liudmyla Melnyk, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Fashion Design of KNUTD to the Technical University in Liberec (the Czech Republic) took place. During the visit, scientific research was conducted and professional experience was exchanged with colleagues of the Faculty of Textile Engineering from the partner university.

Staying at the University was rich and connected with the development of knowledge and the acquisition of practical skills in the development, design and production of innovative textile materials on modern knitting machines of the Department of Technology and Structures of the Technical University of Liberec.

As part of the visit to the Czech Republic, colleagues Vladimir Bayzik, Doc. Ing., Phd, the Dean of the Faculty of Textile Engineering, Irena Lenfeldova Ing., PhD, lecturer of the Department of Technology and Structures, gave an opportunity to KNUTD doctoral student Liudmyla Melnyk to get acquainted with the partner university’s laboratories with modern equipment for determining the physical and mechanical parameters of textile materials and evaluating the comfort properties of textiles and products made from them.

The internship at the Technical University of Liberec gave an opportunity to gain new experience, modern knowledge to improve the quality of education and training of specialists in the field of material science and design of clothing for various purposes.
