On October 5 in famous Kyiv gallery SOVIART (Association of Ukrainian art galleries «SOVIART») was held opening of the collective exhibition «PLYN | THE FLOW» which included works of 5 talented Ukrainian artists: Leonid Bernat, Andriy Gurenko, Victor Deisun, Swiatoslaw Podlewski and Valeriy Shkarupa.
The staff of the Design Faculty of KNUTD congratulated the Ukrainian artist Swiatoslaw Podlewski, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Graphic Design, on the opening of the "FLOW" project.
The opening was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Design Kalyna Pashkevich, teachers of the Graphic Design Department Evgeny Gula, Ruslana Bezugla, Oleksandr Vasiliev, Alla Osadcha, Maryna Polyakova, Bohdan Timofienko, as well as students and graduate students of the Faculty of Design.
As it was mentioned by Swiatoslaw Podlewski in the opening speech the project «PLYN | THE FLOW» from art union BZH-ART and gallery SOVIART was worth waiting. In his opinion, it is a complex exhibition – it doesn’t have any grandiose social basics, it is beyond it. The flow is an allegory of metaphysical unity, unending move of matter and spirit as one.
On behalf of the staff of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD, Kalyna Pashkevych, dean of the faculty, congratulated the talented artists on the opening of theirs exhibition and emphasized that during the war, art itself is the support that gives strength to work and believe in a bright future.
"PLYN | THE FLOW" is a project that presents works of five artists, distinguished by external factors, but united by a joint search for the embodiment of their own non-verbal ideas in visual forms. In times of informational chaos, war, and difficult trials, it is worth stopping and finding true values for yourself and in yourself.
We congratulate our colleague, the talented artist Swiatoslaw Podlewski on the opening of the exhibition and wish him the realization of new projects, inspiration and creativity!
Exhibition "PLYN | THE FLOW" can be visited until October 20, 2024 (Wednesday-Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) at Kyiv, Andriivskyi Uzviz, 22A, Soviart Gallery.
