On October 10, 2024, the Department of Smart Economics held a short-term course “Sustainable Development and Bioeconomy in Ukraine and the European Union” as part of the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ module «Promotion of European skills and approaches for sustainable bioeconomy in the conditions of Ukrainian acute challenges».
With the assistance of Director Liubov KHMELEVSKA, students of the KNUTD College of Arts and Design joined the course. The event was also attended by students of the Department of Smart Economics, speciality 051 – Economics, and the Department of Marketing and Communication Design, speciality 075 – Marketing.
Tetiana VLASIUK, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Modern Technologies, in her welcoming speech, emphasized the importance of students gaining European knowledge and skills in sustainable development.
Head of the Department of Smart Economy, Project Coordinator Anna OLESHKO presented the course «Sustainable Development and Bioeconomy in Ukraine and the European Union» with a special focus on the leadership of sustainable development at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
Svitlana BEBKO, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Marketing and Communication Design, project researcher, gave a lecture on «Development of the bioeconomy in Ukraine and the European Union», in which she outlined the directions of the EU bioeconomic strategy and identified priorities for the implementation of the bioeconomy in Ukraine.
